Trump to Have First Physical Exam as President in January

President Trump will have a physical exam and Press Secretary Sarah Sanders has said the results will be released publicly afterwards.

Why it matters: Trump is 71 years old, and was the oldest man ever elected President. His doctor said during the campaign that he would be “the healthiest individual ever elected,” but little has been made public about his health previously.

President Trump will undergo a physical exam on Jan. 12 by his military physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House said Thursday.

“The president’s physical is scheduled for Jan. 12 and Dr. Jackson, the president’s doctor, will give a readout of the exam after it’s completed,” the White House said in a statement.

The White House previously announced the exam will take place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

U.S. presidents have routinely undergone annual medical exams by military doctors to prove that they are physically fit for duty.

Trump, 71, is the oldest man to be elected president and has faced questions about his health.

The president has brushed aside those questions, frequently boasting about his energy and stamina.

He is holding up much better than a lot of the politicians in either the House or the Senate he cracks the whip a lot to get them to do as much as possible on what he has planned for the country. That’s how he managed to get the tax bill passed he was smoking right on their azzes every step.
