The Federal Elections Commission has been asked to investigate charges made in a series of undercover videos that show Democratic operatives not only explaining how they are trying to influence the presidential election by manipulating the vote but boasting about it.
The complaint was filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation, a nonprofit organization “dedicated to protect the right to vote, preserve the constitutional framework of American elections, and educate the public on the issue of election integrity.”
It cites the evidence made public in videos released by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas.
The videos have resulted already in two Democratic operatives who appeared on them losing their jobs.
Editor’s Note: Be aware of offensive language throughout videos and in quotes from videos.
One is Scott Foval, who had worked for People for the American Way, a George Soros-funded group, and more recently with Americans United for Change.
In the video, he said: “You know what? We’ve been busing people in to deal with you f—ing a—–es for 50 years, and we’re not going to stop now.”
Also, he said he and his agents are “starting anarchy” by creating “conflict engagement … in the lines at Trump rallies.”
Also now out of work is Bob Creamer, founder and partner of Democracy Partners, and husband of Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill.
Foval credited Creamer with coming up with a number of ideas and strategies to enhance Democrats’ standing among voters.
James O’Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas, noted a number of media interviews had been set up for the release of the first video, but many news outlets spiked the story when they found what it revealed.
They had a “fear of retaliation from a future Hillary Clinton administration,” he noted. “Truth is dangerous, especially when it challenges those in power.”
Larry O’Connor at HotAir.com noted the story was virtually blacked out by establishment media.
“In the nearly 48 hours since Project Veritas released a pair of undercover, hidden camera investigations exposing dirty tricks operations from groups affiliated with the Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee, the coverage from mainstream cable news and networks has been virtually nonexistent,” he wrote.
“This despite the fact that two of the high-ranking operatives featured in the videos have been removed from their positions due to the fall-out surrounding the investigation.”
He noted that, “In this second video, Democrat operatives are seen and heard potting outright voter fraud … you know, like rigging an election.”
He explained Creamer is “a frequent guest of the Obama White House. In fact, according to research done by the Daily Caller, Creamer has visited the White House over 340 times since Obama took residence.”
He noted, “Creamer is seen on the video bragging about the operations of his organization, Democracy Partners.
“Wherever Trump and Pence are going to be, we have events and we have a whole team across the country that does that both consultants and people from the Democratic Party. And the Democratic Party apparatus and the people from the campaign, the Clinton campaign and my role with the campaign, is to manage all that.”
Former House Speak Newt Gingrich also raised questions about the apparent disdain for the law.
“Where is the FBI, why is the FBI not investigating this?” the former House speaker asked during an appearance on Fox News on Tuesday, BizPacReview reported. “You have a deliberate willful effort to foment violence, to break up a presidential campaign [and] to intimidate voters.”
The PILF complaint, directed to the office of the general counsel for the FEC in Washington, names Hillary for America, the DNC, Democracy Partners, Americans United for Change and others.
“This complaint is based on information and belief that respondents have engaged in public communications, campaign activity, targeted voter registration drives, and other targeted GOTV activity … at the request, direction, and approval of the Hillary for America campaign committee and the Democratic National committee in violation of 11 C.F.R. 109.20 and 11 C.F.R. 114.4(d)(2) and (3).”
The activities, the complaint explains “potentially registered persons who were not citizens.” They also illegally coordinated political maneuvers between a candidate’s committee and groups that are supposed to be operating independently, the complaint charges.
That puts them in violation of Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, the complaint explains.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said on Twitter, according to the Washington Examiner, that multiple visits to the White House by a “voter fraud operative” merits “a serious criminal investigation.”
The Washington Free Beacon noted the complaint also “mentions the ‘paid protesters’ referenced by Democratic operatives within the videos who were allegedly paid to incite violence at Donald Trump rallies.”
“Upon information and belief, and based upon the facts set forth above, Respondents Hillary for America, the Democratic National Committee, Democracy Partners, Americans United for Change, and their agents, named and unnamed above, have, each of them, individually and collectively, violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, and must be held accountable and liable for their unlawful actions,” the complaint concludes.
Tom Shattuck at the Boston Herald said while “media types” are warning about violence if Trump loses, “The truth is, there is much more likely to be trouble if Trump wins.”
He continued, “The Democratic party has violence in its DNA, as we learned yesterday thanks to an explosive new undercover video from multimedia journalist James O’Keefe of Project Veritas.”
“O’Keefe secretly videotaped conversations with a handful of Clinton campaign and DNC operatives for a video series called ‘Rigging the Election.’ Here’s what we’ve learned: Dems mobilize troublemakers at each and every Trump/Pence appearance to try to agitate the crowd — they call it ‘bird-dogging.’ That jibes with a Wiki¬Leaks email of Clinton campaign spokesman Robbie Mooks writing about ‘an opportunity to bird-dog’ in regards to immigration.”
At one point Foval said party “officials” don’t necessarily need to know about actions that are in a gray area of the law or worse.
“Other people can make things happen that you don’t need to know about,” he said.
See the second video:
Talk-radio icon Rush Limbaugh said the evidence is worrisome.
“Every Trump rally would feature none of this [violence] unless the Democrats were paying for it. I think it’s a big deal, folks. The media is complicit. They know who these people are. … They’re in on it. They’re part of the game. … None of it’s organic. None of it’s natural. None of it’s real. Every bit of it is bought and paid for.
“[Democrats] can’t leave elections to chance because they know that, despite the way it may look, the majority of Americans would not support them if they knew who they are.”
Foval said he works backward in his thinking. He first speculates how a charge of voter fraud could be proven, and then he manipulates circumstances and events to avoid those tactics.
He talked about bringing voters from one state to another to vote illegally.
Hiring a bus could be used as evidence of conspiracy, he noted, so people would need to drive their own cars, or better yet, rentals.
There also was a discussion about using local addresses for illegal voters.
He said what needs to happen is to “implement the plan on a much bigger scale.”
“You implement a massive change in state legislatures and in Congress. So you aim higher for your goals, and you implement it across every Republican-held state.”
In Monday’s video, Creamer confirmed, “The campaign is fully in it.”
Project Veritas says the actions are “behind-the-scenes shady practices with consequences most Americans have seen on national television at Donald Trump campaign rallies across the country.”
“What the media hasn’t reported is that the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee has been directing these activities with, at very best, a very thin veil of plausible deniability.”
Foval said in the video: “The [Clinton] campaign pays DNC, DNC pays Democracy Partners, Democracy Partners pays the Foval Group, The Foval Group goes and executes the s—.
“Democracy Partners is the tip of the spear on that stuff.”
“I’m saying we have mentally ill people, that we pay to do s—, make no mistake,” said Foval in the video. “Over the last 20 years, I’ve paid off a few homeless guys to do some crazy stuff, and I’ve also taken them for dinner, and I’ve also made sure they had a hotel, and a shower. And I put them in a program. Like I’ve done that. But the reality is, a lot of people especially our union guys. A lot of our union guys … they’ll do whatever you want. They’re rock and roll. When I need to get something done in Arkansas, the first guy I call is the head of the AFL-CIO down there, because he will say, ‘What do you need?’ And I will say, ‘I need a guy who will do this, this and this.’ And they find that guy. And that guy will be like, ‘Hell yeah, let’s do it.’”
Project Veritas said it observed a “dirty tricks operative unwittingly” delivering a “dark money trail to the DNC and Clinton campaign.”
The group said it sent undercover video investigators to various Democratic points of interest to interview Foval and Creamer and others.
Foval, the group said, answers directly “to the head of special events for the DNC and the head of special events and political for the campaign.”
He contracts directly with the DNC and the [Clinton] campaign.
Foval explained, “They [DNC, Clinton campaign and Super PAC, AFL-CIO, etc.] can plausibly deny that they knew anything about it.”
He added, “The campaigns and DNC cannot go near [Super PAC] Priorities, but I guarantee you that the people who run the Super PACs all talk to each other and we and a few other people are the hubs of that communication.
“You remember the Iowa state fair thing where Scott Walker grabbed the sign out of the dude’s hand and then the dude kind of gets roughed up right in front of the stage right there on camera?” Foval asked. “That was all us. The guy that got roughed up is my counterpart who works for Bob.”

Foval also, Project Veritas reported, referenced Shirley Teeter, a 69-year-old woman who claimed she was “assaulted” at a Trump rally in North Carolina.
“She was one of our activists,” he said.
Last week, O’Keefe reported his Twitter account was shut down as he was releasing reports on voter fraud.
In one video he released last week, a Clinton staffer confessed that ripping up voter registration forms – if they are for Republicans – is “fine.”
The video also revealed a sexist atmosphere inside the Clinton campaign in which another staffer boasts he would probably have to “grab a–” twice before he’d even be reprimanded. It underscores the double standard by Democrats who have been critical of the 11-year-old recording of Donald Trump making lewd remarks about women.
In the video, both Wylie Mao, a field organizer for the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party of Florida in West Palm Beach, and Trevor Lafauci, a Clinton campaign staffer, agree that ripping up registration forms from Republicans should be “fine.”
“If I rip up completed VR forms, like 20 of them, I think I’ll just get reprimanded. I don’t think I would get fired,” Mao said.
Lafauci, after being told that someone else ripped up Republican registration forms, said, “Yeah, that should be fine.”
When Project Veritas journalists confronted both Mao and Lafauci about the comments they made on camera, they “refused to answer and walked away,” the organization said.
The latest video (Some listeners may find the language objectionable):
O’Keefe previously released an undercover video of Alan Schulkin, the New York Democratic commissioner of the Board of Elections, confirming there is widespread fraud.
In the video, he is heard disclosing that organizers use buses to haul people from poll to poll to vote.
“Yeah, they should ask for your ID. I think there is a lot of voter fraud,” he said in the video, which was recorded some months ago.
